Introduction to Supply Chain (UPDATED + Coaching and Mentor Program)
This course prepares students in the basics of supply chain and supply chain’s roles within organizations. The course includes defining supply chain management and the various domains within supply chain (i.e., customer service, manufacturing and service operations, order management, procurement and supply management, demand planning, inventory management, warehousing operations, and transportation operations). It includes an explanation of how the supply chain supports organizations’ strategic and financial goals.
Course Requirements:
- Complete all modules
- Take all module quizzes
- Pass a final examination test
Course Outcome:
- Once you meet all requirements, you will be awarded a certificate of completion for “Introduction to Supply Chain Management”
- This certificate can be added to your resume/cv

Your Instructor
Maria is the founder of MVC Logistics Academy and co-founder of Marvikco Logistics LLC. She is also a college professor and logistics professional with over 15 years of experience, an MBA graduate with extensive research and academic background, and career development consultant. She was recently named as one of the top Women in Supply Chain by Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine.
She became obsessed with supply chain management at a young age after entering the logistics industry at just 18 years old. Soon she became an expert on the field and developed a passion for teaching and training. As someone who enjoys constantly learning and sharing her findings, Maria started MVC Logistics Academy with the intention of making Supply Chain Management and Logistics education and career development accessible for students of all skill levels.
